Wally's World is a mini comic made by Dav Pilkey. In the in-universe, it is created by Molly and Li'l Petey with coloring by 80-HD.
It is available as a preorder bonus for Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea in the US, UK and Canada on its release week. The full version of this mini comic from the book is available to read for free on the Planet Pilkey website from June 5, 2023.
Plot[]
One time Petey (Wally) was in a bad mood due to him slipping on a banana peel, falling down the stairs in his lab and a bee stinging his butt. As a result, he got mad and built a new world so those incidents would never happen. When he finished building the world, he flew to outer space and was very happy.
Petey loved his created world. Later, he found that he was hungry so he planted some flower seeds and watered them, but to no avail. The flowers grew instead of fruit, and Petey got mad in frustration. He asked the flowers why they wouldn't grow food, and they answered that they can't pollinate as there are no bees. He was angry, but finds another way.
While he was making his world, he had packed bananas stored inside, so he decided to go there. Li'l Petey, 80-HD and Molly from their another world said that they thought Petey hated bananas. He replies saying that he doesn't, but he hates the peels. So he took off all the peels and just but the bananas in the bottom of his world. As he goes down his trapdoor to his bananas, he realizes that he didn't build stairs because of how he fell down them in his original world. As a result, he falls as the bananas were all the way at the bottom.
When Petey is at the ground, he thinks the bananas are gross because of how they are all mushy as there were no peels to keep them nice. He realizes that peels are important after all. Then, he also realizes that because he didn't build stairs, he can't go back up, and how that he should have allowed bees as they could have let him get food from the seeds.
Molly, Li'l Petey and 80-HD think that Petey had learned his lesson, so they go and help him out. As he returns to the original world, Li'l Petey offers him a banana. He accepts it, eating it and throwing away the peel. Molly asks Petey whether he learned his lesson, and he replies that he has. He says he will never take the dual nature of existentialism for granted every again, and he leaves. But then he falls over the peel he threw, falls down stairs and gets chased by bees again.

- This book is no longer on the Planet Pilkey website as of January 30, 2024 and was replaced by Melvin's Magazine. However, it returned on the website and can be readable at the "See Inside the Books" section.
- The name of the comic is likely a reference to Walley World, a fictional theme park from the 1983 movie National Lampoon's Vacation.
