Uncle Larry is a moth that helps to block out something that is seemingly important to the readers of Dog Man. He is the uncle of Daryl the Moth in the book and both of them are the cause for Piggy getting captured. Daryl is forms a team with Piggy called "The Friendly Friends", after Piggy is thrown on to him by Big Jim and, later, Piggy tricks him into thinking that Piggy is "protecting" the Hope Mood Ring but stealinfg by picking it up and taking it away. But when the Ratterfly passes by while Daryl is holding the line that is holding Piggy and Daryl, he thinks that it is Uncle Larry and pulls Piggy out and drops him on Commander Cupcake. The real Uncle Larry is meeting up with Daryl at that part that was mentioned at the beginning and they are talking which is why that part is covered up.
He makes his real appearance in Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea as a member of The Friendly Friends. He owns a submarine shaped like a flea which has the ability to shrink and grow.
