The Robo-Rat 2000, also called The Very Hangry Raterpillar is one of Petey's numerous inventions in Dog Man: For Whom the Ball Rolls. It was used to combat the Burgle Balls. Dog Man, Li'l Petey, and 80-HD chased several of the Burgle Balls into its mouth as the Bark Knight, Cat Kid, and Lightning Dude. The Robo-Rat 2000 then swallowed the Burgle Balls, causing large ball-shaped lumps to appear in its body. This made it look like a caterpillar. It was dubbed the Very Hangry Raterpillar because it was originally a rat but now looked like a caterpillar, and because it was very hungry. Dr. Scum attacked it using his giant robot, but the Very Hangry Raterpillar ate all four of the Robot's arms. Dr. Scum then used the robot to shoot lasers at the now extremely fat Raterpillar and Petey, encasing them in a charcoal cocoon. The Very Hangry Raterpillar emerged from the cocoon later as a Ratterfly.
