The Shrink Ray is an invention used by Petey and the FLEAS. It appeared in Dog Man: Lord of the Fleas when Petey tries to use it as a weapon. He misses the first time, which doesn't end up well. Later in the book, he uses it to reverse the effect of Cannery Grow on Dog Man. In Dog Man: Brawl of the Wild, the FLEAS find the Shrink Ray again, and use it to shrink down Petey's Mech Suit, and use it as a disguise.
It also appears in Dog Man: Mission Impawsible as a Supa Gadget that Li'l Petey can use on certain obstacles, including the final boss.

The Shrink Ray has the ability to shrink anything it zaps. This effect cannot be reversed, but Cannery Grow can counter this effect by enlarging it back.
