Dav Pilkey's Dog Man: Mothering Heights is Number 1 in their bestsellers for the year 2021, according to Publishers Weekly. His other books were also on the list as well.[1]
Dog Man: The Musical returns to perform live with its brand new National Tour cast for Spring 2022. Brandon James Butorovich reprises his role as Dog Man.
In January 26, Scholastic reveals the cover and behind the scenes video of Cat Kid Comic Club: On Purpose to be released on April 12.[2] The trailer was officially posted on March 4. [3]
The 4th Reading Gives You Superpowers Week was held from March 28-April 1.
Cat Kid Comic Club: On Purpose is a Number One Overall/Children's Bestseller including New York Times, USA Today, Toronto Star and Publishers Weekly.
Cubles partners with Diamond Comics as they revealed its Cat Man (from Dog Man: Grime and Punishment) Limited Edition Cuble (pictured) as a Previews World Exclusive, and is only limited to 1,000 pieces.[4]
Scholastic adds a new Cat Kid Comic Club Photo Frame Filter for Facebook and Instagram stories.[5]
Cat Kid Comic Club: Collaborations is officially announced by Scholastic with its new cover and title reveal on June 3, 2022. The book will be released on November 29, 2022.[8]
Dog Man and Friends Summer Camp returns for its second year with new activities inspired by selected Dav Pilkey's books.[9]

On August 4, 2022, Scholastic officially announces Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea, the 11th book in the series by Dav Pilkey releasing on March 28, 2023, and the rerelease of The Adventures of Captain Underpants: 25th Anniversary Edition featuring a Dog Man and Captain Underpants crossover comic on March 7, 2023. They also launched Dav Pilkey's Epic Comic Club, a kid-friendly website where children from all over the world can create and share their own comic stories.
Dog Man: The Musical introduces its new diverse cast and understudy additions as they continue their National Tour this Fall 2022, with Brandon James Butorovich reprising.
Dog Man and the League of Misfits was announced on November 16, 2022 as one of their Free Comic Book Day 2023 Gold Titles. This mini comic will be released on May 6, 2023 in selected comic book shops and bookstores.

Dav Pilkey's Epic Comic Club held its Epic Week o' Fun from December 12-16 featuring new printables, How to Draw videos and 2022 Comic Starters.
Just in time for the Holiday season, Scholastic released its first Sneak Peek Video from Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea on December 21, 2022. In this video produced by Dav Pilkey, the Friendly Friends are singing their own theme song in the tune of Jingle Bells.

Dog Man: The Musical returns on Broadway, with off-Broadway performances held from March 4-April 30, 2023 at New World Stages in New York City.
Cat Kid Comic Club: Collaborations is chosen as one of their reading selections for Scholastic's World Read Aloud Day 2023 on February 1, 2023. In Addition, the publisher also released a surprise sneak peek featuring Dav Pilkey reading aloud a chapter from Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea.
Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea's trailer was revealed on February 6, 2023 at Dav Pilkey's Epic Comic Club Website, and to the public on February 7, 2023.
On February 14, 2023, TheaterWorks USA announced the company for Dog Man: The Musical's Off-Broadway show, featuring the returning Broadway and new cast members.
New Sneak Peeks from Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea are posted every week from February 28 to March 21, 2023 at Dav Pilkey's Epic Comic Club Website.
On March 2, 2023, Scholastic announced Dog Man Day, an event celebrating the release of Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea in selected bookstores and libraries from March 28 (the book's release day) to the first week of April. Dog Man: The Musical also heads to Australia this June according to Publisher's Weekly.[10]
The Adventures of Captain Underpants: 25th and a Half Anniversary Edition was released on March 7, 2023. This Special Edition includes two Dog Man Crossover Comics: Captain Underpants Meets Dog Man and Dog Man and the League of Misfits.
Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea has become a Number One Global Bestseller, including Overall/Children's Categories.
On April 12, 2023, TheaterWorks USA is bringing Cat Kid Comic Club: The Musical to Off-Broadway, premiering at The Lucille Lortel Theatre in New York City from July 21 to August 27, 2023. Alongside the announcement is the title reveal of the fifth Cat Kid Comic Club book, Cat Kid Comic Club: Influencers, releasing on November 28, 2023.
CDP Theatre Producers is bringing Dog Man: The Musical in Australia, with Josh Whitten playing as Dog Man. Touring begins this June 23-25 in Brisbane, to be followed in Sydney and Perth in the following weeks.
Dog Man The Movie: Official Sticker Book has been revealed and will be releasing on December 3, 2024 with Dog Man: Big Jim Begins. The official cover for this book will be announced soon.
However, the book has been changed to feature art from the book series.
