Monster Cheese Sandwich is a comic that was shown in Cat Kid Comic Club. It was made by Naomi (story), Corky (illustrations), Pink (coloring), and Kendrick (lettering).
Backstory[]
According to the author's notes, "the story was based on the truth". The idea for the story came about after Flippy said that he will make the baby frogs muenster cheese sandwiches. Naomi, believing that Flippy said "monster cheese sandwiches", got frightened and burst into tears. Additionally, the author's notes also claim that the baby frogs still refer to muenster cheese as "monster cheese", as, according to Naomi, the baby frogs "[thought it was] funny, but it wasn't at first".
Plot[]
The story begins with a baby (referred to as "Little Baby") telling his mother (referred to as "Momma") he is hungry. Momma goes to the kitchen, with the intent on making Little Baby a muenster cheese sandwich. In the kitchen, Momma accidentally grabs a block of "monster cheese".
Whilst grilling the sandwich, it comes to life, frightening Momma, who then tells Little Baby that the sandwich has come to life. Little Baby, upon hearing the news, runs out of the house with the sandwich monster chasing him. During the chase, the monster cheese sandwich calls out a "MONSTER CHEESE SANDWICH ATTACK" that fails due to Little Baby being out of sight. Little Baby runs and hides behind a fruit stand and asks the vendor for a banana.
The monster cheese sandwich then finds Little Baby. Little Baby offers to be friends with the sandwich monster, which it rejects. Little Baby decides to peel the banana and use its skin to trip the monster cheese sandwich. Once the monster is down, Little Baby offers it his banana, which the monster accepts. It then asks Little Baby if it could be friends with him, which Little Baby also accepts, resulting in the two hugging it out. The friendship is short lived, however, due to Little Baby beginning to eat the monster,
