Momma & Daddy are Little Jim's deceased parents. In Dog Man: The Scarlet Shedder, Little Jim mentions that his parents are in heaven. They made their first physical appearance in Dog Man: Big Jim Begins. It's also revealed that Little Jim's parents' cause of death was a car accident with an unknown vehicle, leaving Little Jim as the only survivor and as an orphan. Fortunately, Mrs. Pierce takes foster care/guardianship for him in Happy Home Shelter. It's unknown what their actual real names are. However Big Jim did say their names are Momma & Daddy, but it's likely that he only calls them that and he doesn't know their real names.

Big Jim Begins[]
In Chapter 2, Big Jim shares his flashbacks about Momma and Daddy and where he lived when he was a baby. In Chapter 9, while on a drive home, Momma and Daddy got in a car crash and were rushed to a hospital. Later in Chapter 14, the married couple died, and Little Jim, along with Mrs. Pierce, visited their graves.
