Melvin the Frog is one of the twenty-one Baby Frogs and Flippy's adoptive sons. He always raises his hands when someone asks a question (paired with the phrase of “OOH, OOH, OOH!”), likes to argue and complain with Naomi, and beg for forgiveness when Flippy gets him in trouble.

Appearance[]

Melvin is an orange (formerly gray/brown) frog (formerly a tadpole). He has arms and long toes. His eyes are white with black pupils, and his face is dotted with darker colored freckles. Just like Melvin Sneedly, he wears a cyan bowtie. He appears in these books:

History[]

Dog Man: Fetch-22[]

Melvin is a minor antagonist who helped create Barky McTreeface with his psychokinetic brain powers in order to destroy the city. For the majority of the book, Melvin and the rest of his siblings are influenced by The Fair Fairy who they believe to be their mother.

Dog Man: Grime and Punishment[]

Melvin makes a minor appearance in Grime and Punishment as one of the 21 baby frogs, and saying a adverb in a word until Munchy The Lunchbag appears. He later helps Li'l Petey scare Munchy away by drawing on him with his siblings.

Personality[]

Including the bowtie, Melvin bears lots of other resemblances to his human counterpart and namesake, Melvin Sneedly. He is annoying, nerdy, smart, and a tattletale. He is also overconfident in many ways, saying stuff about himself that isn't true. When he finds out that he is right about something, or is successful in any way against other people, he often acts rude about it, sticking his tongue out at his opponents. He also likes dinosaurs, and brushing his teeth, leading to the creation of Dennis the Toothbrush Lawyer.

In Cat Kid Comic Club: Perspectives, he creates his own company, Melvin's Media Megacorp as an Universal C.E.O. Times Infinity. He became an agent himself and teams up with Naomi as the director in Cat Kid Comic Club: On Purpose.
