Genie S. Lady, RN, and BSN (better known as Nurse Lady, now Genie S. Lady-Bailey) was originally seen in the first Dog Man book and has been seen in the prologue of every book so far with the Doctor.

Nurse lady is the one who suggested the idea of sewing Greg's head into Knight's body. Thus, Nurse Lady was the one who "created" Dog Man.
Cat Kid Comic Club (book)[]
Along with the Doctor, they went to Flippy's house to see what Flippy was talking about his children's bad comics. Nurse lady encourages Flippy to let his kids do their comics, and to chill out some more.
Dog Man: Mothering Heights[]
Genie is working at the hospital and Chief tries to get her to notice him. Genie shares all the gifts from Dog Man with her patients. She later helps Chief save the hospital, and they kiss afterwards.
Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea
She and Chief go on a date at the Shark Shack. After that, they swing on a swing. They reappear at the end of the book to help Petey and others rebuild his lab.
Dog Man: The Scarlet Shedder[]
She gets married to Chief and goes on a honeymoon with him while Maude takes over as the temporary chief.
Dog Man: Big Jim Begins[]
Young Genie appears in some flashback scenes, where she is known as "the helper" and "is the key to saving the world". She helps Little Jim after his parents were killed in an accident and rushed to the hospital. In the present, she joins the hero party and falls asleep after eating the cake.
Personality[]
Nurse Lady considers herself to be a genius, and she even has a bachelor's degree in nursing, as well in Baby Frog Psychology. She claims to be always right and clever, as seen in Cat Kid Comic Club.

- Chief is known for having a crush on Nurse Lady.
- As of The Scarlet Shedder, Chief is married to her.
- She appears in every book, mostly in the recaps, but she had major roles in Dog Man, Dog Man: Mothering Heights, and Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea.
