Daryl the Moth is a moth that annoys Piggy before getting tricked to help him steal the Hope Mood Ring.

Twenty Thousand Fleas Under The Sea[]

He's a friendly moth who founded a superhero club called "The Friendly Friends." Daryl is a loyal friend to Piggy, even though Piggy is mean and rude in return.

Appearance[]

Daryl is a pistachio-green moth, with dull green wings with pink designs. He has only four legs, despite the fact most bugs have six, and two black antennas. He wears circular glasses with a sky-blue shade to them, and has a bucktooth, which usually demonstrates a character's intelligence in some graphic novels. He is usually shown having a goofy grin, and when speaking, the author gives him a simpleminded personality.

Dog Man: For Whom the Ball Rolls[]

When Piggy was flicked out of the Cat Jail window, he landed onto Daryl. Daryl greets Piggy dumbly, causing Piggy to shout, "NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" Later, Piggy tried to convince Daryl to let him down, until he got the idea to team up and be an unstoppable team. Daryl suggested they could be superheroes, then made up a name and a slogan for the team, causing Piggy to shout "NOO!" once more. The superhero team was named the Friendly Friends. Piggy then told Daryl that he wanted to steal the Hope Mood Ring, whereas Daryl looked devastated and said that they don't steal because they're superheroes. Piggy then rephrased himself wanted to protect it because some robbers supposedly wanted to steal it and that he wanted to foil their plans. Daryl replied that foil is shiny and begun to lower Piggy into a vent on the roof of the museum. Later, Petey was riding by on the Ratterfly when Daryl spotted him. He mistook the Ratterfly for his Uncle Larry. He flew toward him, ripping Piggy with him and causing him to get torn back out of the vent. Daryl released the rope, and Piggy fell right into Commander Cupcake's hand.

Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea[]

Piggy tried to use him to bust out of jail, but instead he escaped when Mr. Stinkles breaks the Mini Jail. Daryl was also then the leader of a superhero team called The Friendly Friends, where their secret hideout is under the letter "c" at a subway sandwich restaurant called The Beach. As he continued to annoy Piggy, Piggy's attention gots caught on something else. He noticed a submarine created by Daryl and Uncle Larry that can shrink and grow. He then took control over the submarine and convinced Daryl and his friends to make people mad. They then did this by throwing pies on protesters and the F.L.E.A.S. Later, when Dog Man, Petey, Li'l Petey, and Sarah breach the submarine, Piggy used this opportunity to shrink the submarine and climb outside, making everybody microscopic. Daryl then helped repair the submarine, and when it gree back to full size, it destroyed Piggy's castle, and they then put him in a hamster cage. Everyone then went to where Petey and Son used to be, and helped build the house until night time.

Dog Man: The Scarlet Shedder[]

Daryl, the Friendly Friends leader attended Chief and Nurse Lady's wedding along with his other Friendly Friends member, Ducky, Mike, Crunky, Bub, and Uncle Larry.

Dog Man Big Jim Begins[]

Daryl got invited to the hero party along with Crunky, Bub, Ducky, Mike, and Uncle Larry. At the end, after Big Jim sung the "Wakey Wakey" song, he wokes up along with everyone else.
