Crunky is a gorilla and a former member of the F.L.E.A.S. and a member of The Friendly Friends. He is a minor character and his first appearance was in Dog Man: Lord of The Fleas.

Appearance[]

Crunky is a dark grey anthropomorphic gorilla wearing a yellow scarf. He often has his tongue hanging out of his mouth.

In Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea, he wears an orange prison uniform with white apron. Later in the book, he is wearing a purple Friendly Friends logo shirt.

Personality[]

Generally, Crunky is shown to be nice, but not very intelligent. Formerly, Crunky was a villain on Piggy's side. Despite this, he was not that evil anyway. Later in the series, he joined The Friendly Friends and became good.

Twenty Thousand Fleas Under The Sea (shared with Bub):[]

Piggy's sidekicks and members of the FLEAS. Crunky (the gorilla) and Bub (the crocodile) also got shrunk and locked up in Mini Jail, but unlike Piggy, they're both pretty good guys.

Trivia[]

Crunky's name was based off a Japanese chocolate of the same name.
His favorite rock group is the Monkees.^[2]
In Dog Man: Lord of the Fleas to Dog Man: For Whom The Ball Rolls, Crunky always sticks his tongue out. Starting from Dog Man: Twenty Thousand Fleas Under The Sea, he doesn't.
