Chubbs McSpiderbutt is a photo-comic that was first teased in Cat Kid Comic Club and officially appeared in Cat Kid Comic Club: Perspectives. It was created by The H.A.C.K.E.R. Brothers (Drake, Gilbert and Rico). It is the only comic that appears in every book of Cat Kid Comic Club.

Plot[]

The comic's main character is a guy named Chubbs, who becomes a spider-human hybrid after sitting on a spider. After becoming a spider-human, he and the spider (named Jake) decide to become friends. The plot mainly follows Chubbs and Jake attempting to become popular superheroes, all while combating the "Not Very Nice Club", a group whose goal is to mercilessly insult others.

Characters[]

  • Chubbs McSpiderbutt - a spider-human hybrid who is the main protagonist of the series. He does not tolerate spicy foods well, and will shoot webs out his rear if he eats something too spicy. He is "played" by Zeus Goldberg.
  • Jake the Flying Spider - a green flying spider who is Chubb's best friend, despite Chubbs sitting on him. He is "played" by Wei Chan.
  • Dr. Pasty McSprinkles is the leader of the Not Very Nice Club (NVNC), a group dedicated to taunting others. He is "played" by Brock Manhammer.
  • Scott the Worm - a pink worm who is Pasty's mentee and a member of the Not Very Nice Club. He is oblivious to his group's mission, complimenting others rather than insulting them. Scott is known to have a fear of babies. He is "played" by himself.
  • Big Bubba Babyhead - originally known as Big Bubba Boxerbuns. He is an action figure who's original head gets ran over and is replaced with a baby's head (hence the name). He was teased in the end of the original Chubbs McSpiderbutt comic.

Apperances[]

Dog Man: Fetch-22[]

The first mention of Chubbs McSpiderbutt in the Dog Man series is in Fetch-22. During George and Harold's opening sequence, the two throw out their set of Chubbs McSpiderbutt action figures to prove their "adultness". After realizing they like being children, George and Harold retrieve the garbage bag and spend the rest of the day playing with the Chubbs McSpiderbutt toys.

Chubbs McSpiderbutt (mini comic)[]

The first Chubbs McSpiderbutt comic is teased in Cat Kid Comic Club and given its full story in the sequel, Cat Kid Comic Club: Perspectives.

Chubbs McSpiderbutt: Birth of the Big Bubba Babyhead[]

It is the second installment in the series shown in Cat Kid Comic Club: On Purpose.

Chubbs McSpiderbutt: Easy Spider[]

It is the third installment in the series shown in Cat Kid Comic Club: Collaborations.

The comic starts where the previous comic ended, with the Not Very Nice Club and Big Bubba Boxerbuns. Patsy is scolding Scott for running over Bubba's head and replacing it with a baby's. Patsy then says that due to Bubba's new head, his name will have to be "Big Bubba Babyhead". The club then decides to return to Heads"Я"Us to buy a brand new head. However, Scott accidentally launches a rocket at the store, causing it to blow up.

Meanwhile, Chubbs and Jake are eating frozen yogurt. Jake believes that he and Chubbs are too "soft", due to owning luxuries that most popular superheroes don't own. Suddenly, the alarm on the duo's "spider-computer" sets off. Chubbs and Jake decide that this is the perfect time to become "hard". So, Chubbs and Jake spring into action by jumping out of their van while riding a motorcycle. However, while riding, Chubbs and Jake have a talk about how the parents of most superheroes die in horrible ways. This gets them to back off of their goal of being "hard", and return home.

Back with the Not Very Nice Club, Bubba is scolding Scott for ruining his only chance at getting a normal head. During his scolding, he attempts to adopt a new persona: "The Mighty Phoenix". Patsy backs down on the idea and states he likes "Big Bubba Babyhead" better. Patsy and Scott then leave Bubba with the burnt remnants of Heads"Я"Us.

RoboChubbs[]

It is the fourth installment in the series shown in Cat Kid Comic Club: Influencers.
