Chief's Father is a minor character shown in a backstory within the book, Dog Man: Big Jim Believes. Not too much is known about him, but it is known that he is the father of Clarence Bailey.

Appearance

Chief's Father has a very similar appearance to that of adult Chief, however, instead of having a mustache, he has a beard.

History

When Momma and Daddy and Little Jim were forced to move away from their house due to it catching on fire, the Bailey Family helped them move into one of their cabins.

• In the DreamWorks Dog Man Movie, Chief reveals he has a mother, who died prior to the events of the film. Whether or not she was married to Chief's dad is unknown.
