A picture of Baby Flippy
Baby Flippy is a comic that was first teased in Cat Kid Comic Club and officially appeared in Perspectives. It is supposedly a biography of Flippy, though he claims none of the things in the comic happened in real life. Baby Flippy was created by Wendy and Raine.
Plot[]
Cat Kid Comic Club[]
According to the comic, Flippy was born in the ocean, and was one of the smallest fish. Due to being so small, he was constantly bullied by other sea creatures (who usually called him "Fishface"). Often, Flippy would run home crying. Whenever this would happen, Flippy's mother would remind him that "It's not the size of your body that counts, it's the size of your heart".
With this knowledge, Flippy went on with his life, trying to shrug of the bullies' insults. However, as he grew older, the bullies grew meaner, with them going so far as to chase Flippy likely with the intent on harming him. One day, while being chased by the bullies, Flippy encountered a clay pot to hide in. Inside of the pot was an octopus, who successfully scared the bullies straight. Flippy was also afraid, being to shocked to move. As he stood there, the pot is reeled up by a group of sailors trying to catch a giant octopus. Once one of the sailors picked up the pot to move it below the deck, Flippy made his escape, flopping around and scaring the sailor so he would break the pot. Once freed, the octopus grappled the sailor. The comic ends with Flippy, the octopus, and the sailors being shocked by lightning and falling into a shark's mouth.
Reception[]
Initially, Baby Flippy was met with scorn by the other frogs. The frogs specifically criticized how the comic ended with a cliffhanger, and how they would have to wait another week for the story to properly continue.
